Effective date: 11 October 2026
This policy explains how DeenVersusDuniya ("we", "us") handles information on this website and in DeenVersusDuniya Uploader ("the app").
This website
We do not ask visitors for personal information. The video player on this site is provided by YouTube. When you play a video, YouTube may set cookies and collect information as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as the time of a visit and the page requested.
Who uses the app
The app is a private tool. Only the owner of the DeenVersusDuniya YouTube channel signs in to it. It is not available to the public and does not collect information from viewers or visitors.
Information the app accesses
When the channel owner signs in with Google, the app receives permission to access the DeenVersusDuniya YouTube channel through YouTube API Services. This covers the channel's videos and their details, playlists, comments and channel statistics.
How the information is used
The app uses this access only to upload and manage content on the channel when the owner asks it to. We do not use the information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Where the information is kept
The sign-in permission (an access token) is stored on the channel owner's own computer. The app has no server and no database of its own.
The owner operates the app through an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic). Channel information the owner asks for, such as video details or statistics, is processed by that service to carry out the request. We do not share information with anyone else.
YouTube and Google
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
The Google Privacy Policy applies to information handled by YouTube and Google.
Removing access and deleting data
Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account permissions page.
Removing access makes the stored permission unusable. The stored permission can also be deleted from the owner's computer at any time. To ask for any information to be deleted, email us at the address below.
Children
The app is not directed at children and is not used by them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
